Steel Fighters beginner guide

Start by building one usable robot, then alternate arena progress with Junkyard scrap and upgrades. This is a suggested first-session route based on the official description and recorded gameplay, not a timed walkthrough from a fresh account.

First session, in order

Use the play page if you have not joined the official experience. Once in-game, follow the current tutorial prompts.

Check the advertised social rewards: like the experience and join WeShowProjects for a free robot; favourite for free parts. The exact reward model and claim flow have not been tested here.
Use the lever for parts and assemble the six slots at the build station. Equip a usable build before spending time completing a collection.
Enter arena floors. If the robot dies, compare Health and Defense upgrades; if damage or clear time is the issue, compare Attack and Critical. These are editorial priorities.
Collect Junkyard junk and deliver it home for Scrap. Use the current upgrade preview to compare the cost with the displayed improvement.
The reported Perfect bonus rewards matching parts, but a weak matching set is not automatically better than stronger mixed parts.
Before the first rebirth at floor 30, inspect the reset panel. It says Cash and Scrap reset while robots and their levels stay.

Before spending resources

Putting initial upgrades into a usable robot is an editorial starting point, not proof that one-robot play is always optimal. Keep a useful mixed build while comparing alternatives; do not discard stronger parts merely to finish Perfect.

Read current pack totals, quantities and fusion confirmation screens in the client. Unchecked pack prices, universal unlock costs and a guaranteed first-rebirth completion time are not supplied here.
